You really discredit yourself as a “senior legal analyst” when you write things like, “Building off its decision in Citizens United to grant corporations First Amendment speech rights….”

Numerous pre-Roberts Supreme Court cases recognized that corporations and other business entities had free speech rights under the First Amendment. See, e.g., 44 Liquormart v. R.I., 517 U.S. 484 (1996); Metromedia, Inc. v. City of San Diego, 453 U.S. 490 (1981); Virginia State Bd. of Pharmacy v. Virginia Citizens Consumer Council, 425 U.S. 748 (1976); New York Times Co. v. Sullivan, 376 U.S. 254 (1964).
