Tami worked for 10 years as a beat reporter in the Cincinnati, Ohio area; covering school districts, courts, law enforcement, and local government until she returned to school in 2005. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2008. She has three children; two grown sons and one 13 year-old daughter.
