Less than half of American voters
self-identify as pro-choice. Democrats cannot build a winning coalition without attracting and keeping some
self-identified pro-lifers. Obama’s common ground campaign promises helped do that. The new swing voter is a pro-lifer for common ground.

The Hidden Costs in the Free Market of Ideas

Most blogs, especially public policy blogs, seem to spin in place. So, wanting to succeed in genuinely making progress on common ground initiatives, I want to avoid the free market
of ideas model in this venue.
