Sally Schaeffer is a Senior Public Policy Advocate at Futures Without Violence, formerly Family Violence Prevention Fund. Earlier, Ms. Schaeffer served as Chief of Staff to U.S. House of Representatives Member, Louise Slaughter (D-NY), co-chair of the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus. Prior to becoming the Congresswoman’s Chief of Staff, Ms. Schaeffer served as her Legislative Director. Ms. Schaeffer holds a B.A. in Political Science from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland and a Master’s in Government Administration from the Fel’s School of Government at the University of Pennsylvania.
