Nadia Berenstein is a writer and speechwriter living in Brooklyn. After a two-year stint as chief speechwriter for the president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, in 2006, she moved to Buenos Aires, where she reported on abortion rights and family planning policies in Argentina for Planned Parenthood's Choice! Magazine. Since returning to the United States, she has written on a variety of topics relating to women's reproductive health. She is currently assisting Eileen McDonagh, a professor of political science at Northeastern University, on a book examining the role of women in democracies.
