National Institute for Reproductive Health / NARAL Pro-Choice New York
Kelly Baden is the Director of Policy and Strategic Partnerships at the National Institute for Reproductive Health and NARAL Pro-Choice New York. In this role, Kelly directs the Urban Initiative for Reproductive Health (www.UrbanInitiative.org) and the Strengthen Our States Initiative, providing grants and technical assistance to partners throughout the country to advance innovative state and local policy on reproductive health rights, and justice. Before Kelly joined the staff at NIRH and NARAL Pro-Choice New York, she served as Public Policy Manager for Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health (PRCH) where she trained physicians to become advocates for reproductive rights. Kelly has also worked for Planned Parenthood Affiliates of New Jersey, EMILY’s List, the American Political Science Association, and the Close Up Foundation. She has a B.A. in Political Science and Women’s and Gender Studies from The College of New Jersey and a graduate certificate in Women, Politics, and Political Leadership from the Women and Politics Institute at American University. Kelly currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Abortion Access Fund, raising money to help women in New Jersey access the abortion care they need.
