Julia Indichova

Recognized internationally for her work as a fertility educator, consumer advocate, the author of Inconceivable (Doubleday 2001), and The Fertile Female (Adell Press,2007), Julia Indichova has been researching health-enhancing approaches to fertility since her own diagnosis in 1992.  She has lectured for the American Fertility Association, Resolve and a number of other advocacy groups.

In 1997, Indichova founded www.fertileheart.com, a global community focused on reproductive difficulties, adoption, and pregnancy. The Fertile HeartTM Studio in Woodstock, New York, offers daylong workshops. as well as an international phone support group, and a monthly open circle in New York City.  Her work and story have appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, Oxygen,  Chicago Fox News and in Health magazine, and the San Francisco Chronicle.  After 9/11 she founded the Birthing a Child-Friendly Planet Project, with an ongoing series of seminars meant to inspire individuals to give birth to healthier bodies, books, and businesses, all in the context of repairing the world.

When I began reading The Fertility Diet, I realized how lucky I was that it was not in print at the time of my own infertility diagnosis 16 years ago. Otherwise I, too, might have been tempted to follow it. And that would've been a mistake.
