Eli Coleman

Program in Human Sexuality (University of Minnesota)

Eli Coleman is the Director of the Program in Human Sexuality at the University of Minnesota. He has authored articles and books on a variety of sexual health topics, including compulsive sexual behavior, sexual orientation, and gender dysphoria. He is founding editor of the International Journal of Transgenderism and International Journal of Sexual Health and past president of the SSSS, WPATH, WAS, and IASR. Coleman has been a sexual health consultant to the World Health Organization and received numerous awards, including the WAS gold medal and SSTAR Masters and Johnson Award. In 2007, he was appointed the University of Minnesota’s inaugural Chair in Sexual Health.
