I'm a 30-something feminist, pro-choice, dyke-crip from the UK. Despite the shit that's going on over here to restrict the rights of the vulnerable, it's a veritable utopia compared to the patriarchal, pro forced-birth, anti-choice dystopia that's being created by the TheoCons in the USA. I believe in abortion free of charge, funded by tax/national insurance. I believe in the strength and power of all women (whether AFAB or not), and that anyone with a uterus gets to decide the fate of it's contents. I trust in the decisions of women, and of all people with uteruses, to choose what they think is best. I believe that every child should be wanted, loved, and cherished. I believe that parenthood is at it's best when there is enough money, love, and support to go around. I believe childhood is at it's best when there is love, security, freedom from harm, and trust. I believe that forcing people to birth against their will creates the very opposite situation.
