Randall Terry May Have Won A Delegate In Oklahoma

Oh no!  Does this mean Obama's hopes of winning Oklahoma are over?

Anti-choice activist and Operation Rescue founder Randall Terry entered the 2012 Democratic primary for one reason — to run graphic, anti-abortion commercials on television.

But now, he may have actually scored himself a delegate, after an 18 percent showing in the state of Oklahoma.

Via USA Today:

According to Democratic Party rules, Terry is eligible for a delegate since he won more than 15 percent of the statewide vote. Until Tuesday, Obama had won all of the Democratic delegates awarded so far.

Oklahoma Democratic Party Chairman Wallace Collins said he wanted to review party guidelines before pronouncing that Terry had cost Obama a vote at this summer’s convention.

“If under the rules he (Terry) is awarded a delegate, we’ll be sure he gets one,” Collins said.

One political analyst says this shows the extreme dissatisfaction many have for the president, which is no doubt true in that state.  But it also shows an utter lack of campaign apparatus on the ground there, as well.

Either that, or Ann Coulter’s endorsement really means a lot to people.
