Group Claims Rick Perry Isn’t “Pro-Life Enough”

Ok, I’m done.  I give up.  It’s not pro-life, it’s pro-baby birthing.  There’s no other explanation when even Texas Governor Rick Perry is being called “not pro-life” because he thinks abortion should be allowed if a woman’s health is at risk.

Via a ChristianNewswire Press Release:

“Though it has been said numerous times that Gov. Perry is pro-life, he is not pro-life because being pro-life means being against all abortions with no exceptions. Unborn babies in the womb as a result of rape or incest are also made in God’s image. Their lives must never be intentionally snuffed out for any reason.

“In addition, since unborn babies are persons in their earliest stage of development, Gov. Perry’s rape-incest exceptions are unconstitutional since they violate the Fifth Amendment which prohibits persons from being “deprived of life…without due process of law.”

“Finally, murdering an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary to save the life of the mother. If a pregnant woman must have an operation, and that operation results in the death of the unborn baby, that is not an abortion. The purpose of an abortion is always to directly kill, to murder, the unborn baby in the womb.”

Really? She has to be minutes from dying because only then is it “not an abortion,” it’s intervention to save her life that just happens to kill the fetus?

murdering an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary to save the life of the mother.

There is no murder, but abortion is absolutely necessary to save women’s lives in some instances.

If a pregnant woman must have an operation, and that operation results in the death of the unborn baby, that is not an abortion.

It is if the ‘operation’ is a D&C or a suction evacuation or a D&X because those are ALL abortion procedures.

Removing an ectopic pregnancy to save the woman’s life is an abortion.

The emergency removal of the placenta to stop eclampsia is an abortion.

Removing a molar pregnancy before it invades the woman’s body and kills her is an abortion.

Removing a DEAD fetus is an abortion.

Removing any remaining products of pregnancy after a miscarriage is an abortion even when the fetus has already been expelled.

‘Abortion’ is the NAME of the operation.

Trying to gather together and redefine all the instances in which people approve of abortion and then claim they are ‘not really abortions’ but instead ‘operations’ so that one can pretend to be ideologically pure and oppose ‘all abortions’ is an interesting feat of doubletalk and hypocrisy.  It does not, however, change the medical facts.  If ‘all abortions’ are outlawed, doctors are not going to relabel them ‘operations’ but instead just stop performing them even when they are absolutely vital, and women are going to die.  LOTS of women are going to die.

This is like a bad dream. this is like putting women back in the 1800′s or worse biblical times. These people really take their bible’s seriously don’t they? Do they not realize that the bible was written by men for men not by God? Their are only a few words in the bible that are non-biased towards women and those words were actual from Jesus. (If you believe in Jesus.)

Still it is hard to bleleive that peoplle are still reading a book from the biblical times thousands of years ago. Still taking it out of context still rewriting it to suit their agenda. All of this (women should be total martyrs) is from the bible. The part they left out is when God says “men and women are equal in His eyes. When we die we are NO gender at all. Thank GOD!

We ate from the “tree of knowledge” and we have now learned how to save almost everyone so if we now take away the right for ALL people to be saved by life saving medicines and surgery where will this end? it won’t end with women or will it are women really hated this much? i hope not but I am afraid we are.
