Abortion

Group Claims Rick Perry Isn’t “Pro-Life Enough”

To be really "pro-life" you have to be willing to risk the woman's health and life.

Ok, I’m done.  I give up.  It’s not pro-life, it’s pro-baby birthing.  There’s no other explanation when even Texas Governor Rick Perry is being called “not pro-life” because he thinks abortion should be allowed if a woman’s health is at risk.

Via a ChristianNewswire Press Release:

“Though it has been said numerous times that Gov. Perry is pro-life, he is not pro-life because being pro-life means being against all abortions with no exceptions. Unborn babies in the womb as a result of rape or incest are also made in God’s image. Their lives must never be intentionally snuffed out for any reason.

“In addition, since unborn babies are persons in their earliest stage of development, Gov. Perry’s rape-incest exceptions are unconstitutional since they violate the Fifth Amendment which prohibits persons from being “deprived of life…without due process of law.”

“Finally, murdering an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary to save the life of the mother. If a pregnant woman must have an operation, and that operation results in the death of the unborn baby, that is not an abortion. The purpose of an abortion is always to directly kill, to murder, the unborn baby in the womb.”

Really? She has to be minutes from dying because only then is it “not an abortion,” it’s intervention to save her life that just happens to kill the fetus?
