Federal Abortion Ban? Three Out Of Five DeMint-Approved Candidates Agree!

On Labor Day, leading Republican presidential candidates were invited to South Carolina to explain to Sen. Jim DeMint and his Tea Party followers why they should get their support.

One of the questions asked by the three man panel: would you support a federal abortion ban?  And three out of five contenders said “of course.”

Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich and Michele Bachmann all presented their support for such a measure, with only Ron Paul and Mitt Romney saying abortion should be a state by state decision.

Of course, no one advocated that it be the woman’s decision, but then again, this is the Republican Party.

To see more detailed answers, click here.  Governor Rick Perry, who was unable to attend the debate, has said recently that he would also support a federal ban, although before that he said it was a matter of states rights.  So, to find out his real stance, you would need to wait and see if he is running in the primary or the general.

Ah, damn right because noone, man or woman, should have the right to KILL BABIES.

“Woman’s decision”?! If a woman becomes pregnant, her decision has already been made. Its time now to WOMAN UP & assume the responsibility you agreed to shoulder by not taking the proper precautions to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

By the way, even in the ultra rare & extreme case of pregnancy via rape, KILLING BABIES is still not an acceptable solution. It never is.

Andrea Yates killed babies.  Abortion doesn’t kill a baby.  It terminates a pregnancy.  If you do not want an abortion, do not have one.  Also shove that anti choice crap right up your ass.  My body, my choice. You do not get make any reproductive choices for me or any other woman.

No one here was talking about infanticide. You might want the discussion on U.S. military action in Afghanistan and Pakistan, down the hall.

Sorry, but you don’t get to say whether a woman has agreed to anything or not. Or else, it’s time for you to ANTI-CHOICE TROLL UP and assume the responsibility you agreed to shoulder by not taking the proper intellectual precautions to prevent unwanted douchebagginess.

Pregnancy via rape is apparently not as “ultra rare & extreme” as an anti-choice advocate who can tell the difference between infanticide and abortion.

It’s always amusing to hear a man making self-righteous pronouncements about what they think a woman should do, even in the case of rape–particularly when they’re talking about a situation which they themselves will never experience.  But this is about control for you, isn’t it?  Or rather anger that you can’t control what a woman does to her own body.

Are you really as mentally unstable as your posts make you appear to be or are you just engaging in theatrics to get a rise out of people?

    Couple things:

An embryo/fetus is not a baby, and abortion is not killing, no matter how many times you put it in ALL-CAPS BOLD. By the way, how many “”BABY KILLERZ”” do you know in your life?

Sex is not an irrevocable contract that must result in a baby if contraception fails (or is not used.)

Not allowing for choice after someone has been raped is essentially pro-rape. (Which is not a surprising position, coming from an MRA d-bag)

The only reason you pretend that non-sentient organisms are “babies” is because it gives you a “moral” excuse to punish women for having sex. (once again, also not surprising, and fairly transparent, for your everyday MRA.)

A 63-year-old man from the remote Alaska island village of Saint Michael may not know how his troubled life will end, but one thing is certain: death will come in prison for the decorated Vietnam veteran and father of five.

“This is a death sentence,” Alaska Superior Court Judge Ben Esch told Lawrence Kobuk on Tuesday at his sentencing for raping a woman. “You will be in jail until you die.”

Last October, a jury found Kobuk guilty of raping a woman who had passed out at his home after a night spent drinking home brew he had made. It wasn’t the first time Kobuk had waited until a woman was heavily asleep in a drunken haze to strike. One day nearly 25 years earlier, he had done the same thing to two women.

Kobuk’s latest offense ran into the state’s “third strike” law: commit three first-degree sexual assaults and the court must impose a 99-year sentence. Unless there are unusually special circumstances, the court has no choice but to hand down the sentence.

It’s almost funny to see how terrified they are by the thought of women as autonomous beings. They rant, and froth, and stamp their little man-feet because the mere idea of women not being wholly dependent on men scares them. What this particularly nasty troll is advocating is that any man on earth should be able to force himself and his offspring on any woman he chooses, and that she should be forced to birth Rapist Jr.

    Pro-life is pro-rape, pro-man and pro-violence. Sickening.
