Bachmann: Planned Parenthood “Committing Crimes and Enabling Young, Minor Girls”

Who was the Belle of Ralph Reed’s “Faith and Freedom” conference this weekend?  Why, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, who was in her element as she preached for a nation run under biblical law and toyed with a possible presidential run.

And, while she was at it, she threw in calling Planned Parenthood a “criminal enterprise” for good measure.

Via USA Today:

Bachmann, a Minnesota congresswoman, accused the group of corruption and of “committing crimes and enabling young, minor girls.”

“This organization has by their own records performed 324,008 abortions in 2008 and 2009 and that’s in addition to the trafficking of under-age girls that has gone on under Planned Parenthood’s nose,” she said. “Do you think we could start here by defunding this organization?”

Watch the speech below.  She doesn’t want to “talk about it, it’s so disgusting.”  Then she talks about it a lot.

Hasn’t “the trafficking of under-age girls” gone on under the nose of the FBI, state and local police forces, the United States Congress, and every church in the country?  Why is Planned Parenthood the organization it’s appropriate to shame for this problem continuing to exist?  By what possible contortion of logic is Planned Parenthood supposed to have made this all go away?  Wouldn’t it make more sense to be annoyed with the cops and judges who are actually aware of who these girls are because the cops are actually ARRESTING them for underage prostitution and then bailing them right back out so their pimps can put them back to work to pay their fines.

Perhaps if Bachman thinks underage girls being trafficked is *disgusting* she might want to make the business less profitable by pushing for a federal law that assesses huge criminal fines on the actual CUSTOMERS who provide the demand for the trafficking, or puts the CUSTOMERS on the sex offender registry with the other perverts.
