Teaching Evolution Causes Teen Pregnancy???

You know you might be a little bit nuts when even Fox News decides they would rather end an interview than continue talking to you.  So learned Colorado Right to Life Spokesperson Bob Enyart on Sunday, when he was cut off once he began a diatribe that blamed teen pregnancy on the teaching of evolution in the classroom.

Via Media Matters, Enyart proclaimed:

“That — the major reason for that is that our school curriculum today all over the country is officially godless. Kids are told that they’re animals, that they’ve evolved from animals and then we shouldn’t be shocked when they behave like animals.”

Watch his whole — very short — interview below.

This isn’t the only time Enyart has made waves.  According to Media Matters, one of his many claims to fame is the time he called the murder of Dr. George Tiller an “occupational hazard,” back in 2009.

The man was not cut off because he was ‘nuts’.  For ya’ll to say that, is typical.  He was cut off because of time limitations on the report.  Only fair to give the other guest their time on the air.

Check out the News Hounds article about this interview. (They watch Fox so we don’t have to!).  As “Priscilla” notes, Fox may not have vetted this guest. She also questions whether, if this guy was vetted, Fox included him as a “shout-out” to their anti-choice audience. Given, as shown by News Hounds, the anti-choice orientation of much of Fox’s content, it would appear that much of their demographic is anti-choice and thus, they skew their propaganda to what is, arguably, the principal demographic of today’s Republican party. The “chyron” (on screen comments that support the propaganda being promoted), used in this piece, stated that there was a “battle” over this issue. The statement from the school principal indicated that there was consensus. As noted in the News Hounds article, the interviewer, Ms. Huddy, said that Enyart was a former school administrator; but this does not appear to be true. She also did not note that this program is optional. And what is clearly apparent is that Enyart got most of the interview time. So much for “fair & balanced!”

They want the bible taught in school were girls will learn they are to be submissive to their husbands. If Evolution is true, there was never a barbaric man benefiting, women oppressing god. The bible tells insecure degenerate men everything their insecure male egos needs to hear.

Teen pregnancy is caused by abstinence only egecation, and every one, who is not a brainwashed, cult member, knows damn well that is what causes teen pregnancy.

If boys got pregnant, and their futures were ruined, or they had to push something the size of a watermelon out something the size of a quarter, there is no way the christians and republicans would allow abstinence only education, but in christian world, what is good enough for girls, is not good enough for boys.

Great point “Forced birth is RAPE” ! I think it would be a much different world if boys/men could get pregnant.
