So those who oppose it reveal their true agenda…forcing women to bear unwanted children.

  • crowepps

Oh, golly, they don’t want women to bear unwanted children at ALL. Instead they want all women to WANT to bear children.  It’s the difference between merely usurping the uterus to the religious agenda and going to extreme lenghts and attempting to control women’s minds and emotions.

Or, of course, women could remain virgins like they’re SUPPOSED to since God apparently has had second thoughts about the wisdom of giving women actual bodies.

Right. Because it’s the NATURE of women to sacrifice and bear as many children as possible. The women who disagree are disordered. In sacrifice, suffering and submission lies joy.

Sounds like a paean to theory of spirituality described so well by the Marquis De Sade, doesn’t it?

doctors who for the most part state that since it can’t be proven that the pill doesn’t allow “fertilized eggs to starve to death,” that the pro-life community needs to avoid it all all costs.

    These people are certifiable.

  • crowepps

Actually, it “can’t be proven” that being ProLife causes global warming since it is impossible for science to prove a negative.

  • bornin1984

since it is impossible for science to prove a negative.

    Prove it.

    Rolls eyes. Ugh. *coughnitwitcough*

These kids aren’t religious, they’re an army. They’ve been raised to hate.

  • rebellious-grrl

    These people are certifiable.

Yes they are. I could only handle watching the short version of the film, and that was bad enough. I tried to watch the longer version and gave up. Seriously laughable. What’s next? Are they going to start protesting pharmacies?

Ah!  Dissent within the anti-choice ranks…what music to my ears.

Collective soul unbind and leave to rot
    Alone its all-uncomprehending shards,
In fear and hatred of the world they once
    United to destroy; composite voice
    Disintegrate, its fragments gibber home
To Babel, and its truthless tongues to sand.

According to Robert Fleischmann of Christian Life Resources, you will find your proof, once you get to heaven.  Once you arrive, you will be greated by all of the children you ever aborted, whether you knew about them or not.

I actually raised an eyebrow at my laptop when I read that. I think that’s all the reponse it needed, it’s just so silly. If it’s hard for us to prove a negative, then he should have to qualify his statement with peer-reviewed, documented and photographed evidence that we have magical sperm-spirit children floating around in the ether, who sadistically wait for us to die, presumably to bother MRAs for alimony.

For the sake of argument, surely if you’ve been “murdering children” you won’t go to heaven, or do you get some sort of mocking party of floating blastocysts who greet you at the pearly gates, at which point a trapdoor opens under your feet and you drop into Hell? I mean, since nature itself is extremely sloppy about which eggs get to implant, then every fertile woman who is middle-aged and has been having heterosexual sex regularly for over the course of her lifetime is likely to have “aborted” a “baby” (to use their definitions of the words), whether she was contracepting or not, though implantation failure is far less likely with the pill, which suppresses ovulation. Or is it something like Dante’s Inferno*, where the shades of unbaptised, stillborn, miscarried, or aborted babies gather in the first circle to torment incoming souls?

    * The poem, not the PS3 game. I realise Dante, the Inferno, Purgatory and whatnot are Catholic ideas and Mr. Fleischmann does not belong to their denomination, but they make a better story than being followed around by a cloud of ethereal eggs.
