In the past four weeks, we
have flooded the legislature with nearly 4,000 phone calls urging our elected
officials to reject the Governor’s proposed cut to the state family planning
program – Family PACT. Thank you for your help! We are making an impact –
but we’re not done yet!

The budget is still not final,
so we can’t let up the pressure now. Cuts to the Family PACT program would force
millions of women, men, and teens to go without affordable birth control, cancer
screenings, and STD testing and treatment. Our state’s leadership needs to hear
from you – if you live in California please call Assemblymember Karen Bass, Senator Darrell Steinberg, and
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger TODAY!
