What with Catholic Church hierarchy claiming to be infallible, do you ever wish you could just ask go straight to the top and ask Jesus whether, whatever Pope Benedict XVI may say to the contrary, condoms are a useful HIV prevention measure?  (Or whether he was rooting for the priests on the 1966 Catholic Commission on Birth Control to succeed in their efforts to liberalize the Church’s position on contraception?)
